A plain-English summary of the personal information this website may collect, why it is used and the choices you have.

Last updated: 15 September 2026

This page covers use of the public website. If you become a coaching client, you will receive more detailed service documents explaining how coaching records and any health-related information are handled.

1. Who is responsible for your information?

Jordan Calder ADHD Coaching is the data controller for personal information collected through this website and direct enquiries.

Contact: Jordan@ouradhdwithin.com.

2. What information may be collected?

  • Information you choose to provide in an email, message, enquiry or booking form.
  • Your name, contact details, appointment choices and the content of your enquiry.
  • Basic technical information created when you use the site, such as IP address, device or browser information, security logs and cookie choices.
  • Payment and transaction information supplied by a payment provider. Full card or bank details are not collected through these website pages.

Please avoid sending detailed medical or crisis information through a general website enquiry.

3. Why and how is it used?

Information is used to respond to enquiries, arrange fit calls, provide requested services, keep the website secure, maintain business records and meet legal obligations.

Lawful bases

  • Steps before a contract and performance of a contract: to discuss, arrange and provide coaching you request.
  • Legitimate interests: to answer genuine enquiries, administer the business, prevent misuse and improve the website where those interests do not override your rights.
  • Legal obligation: where records must be kept or information disclosed by law.
  • Consent: where consent is specifically requested, including certain optional technologies or uses of sensitive information. You may withdraw consent for future use.

4. Who may receive information?

Information is shared only where needed with service providers that help operate the website and business, such as website hosting, booking, email, video meeting, administration and payment services. Those providers handle information under their own terms and, where appropriate, data-processing arrangements.

Information may also be disclosed where required by law, to protect someone's vital interests, or to establish or defend legal claims. Personal information is not sold.

International transfers

Some technology providers may process information outside the UK. Where UK data protection law requires safeguards, appropriate transfer mechanisms should be used by the relevant provider or controller.

5. How long is information kept and how is it protected?

Information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, to answer follow-up questions, administer services, meet tax or legal duties, and deal with complaints or claims. Different records have different retention periods.

Reasonable organisational and technical measures are used to protect information. No internet service is completely risk-free, so please use an appropriate channel for anything especially sensitive.

6. Your data protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights to:

  • ask for a copy of your personal information;
  • correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • ask for erasure or restriction;
  • object to certain processing;
  • receive certain information in a portable format; and
  • withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.

These rights are not absolute. To make a request, email Jordan@ouradhdwithin.com. Identity may need to be checked before a request is completed.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored by a website in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, can remember settings without using a traditional cookie.

Strictly necessary technologies

These support functions such as security, page delivery, forms, accessibility and remembering a privacy choice. They do not require consent where they are genuinely necessary for the service you requested.

Optional technologies

Analytics, advertising and some embedded third-party content may store or access information on your device. Optional technologies should be disabled until you choose to allow them. If a booking form, video, map or other third-party feature is embedded, that provider may set its own cookies when the feature loads or is used.

Managing your choices

Use the site's cookie controls, where shown, to accept or reject optional technologies. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser, although doing so may affect some features. Changing a choice does not automatically delete cookies already stored, so you may also need to clear them in your browser.

8. Questions or complaints

Please raise privacy questions first by emailing Jordan@ouradhdwithin.com so there is an opportunity to put things right.

You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office. Visit ico.org.uk for current guidance and contact options.

This notice may be updated when the website, services or legal requirements change. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
